Our national commercial and brand storytelling campaigns for IZOD, Nike, Gatorade, Wilson, NCAA and Dick’s Sporting Goods have told impactful stories, successfully introducing new product lines featuring a host of world famous celebrity athletes. NBC has entrusted us with creating multiple Super Bowl, Sunday Night Football, Thursday Night Football, and NASCAR show opens and promos, along with revenue generating co-branded partnerships, and Olympic campaigns. We’ve launched and maintained the UFC and PFL on ESPN, and the UEFA Champions League on Paramount+, generating ratings that have surpass expectations. NBC | SUPER BOWL LVI OPEN
We collaborated with our friends at NBC Sports to develop this Halle Berry hosted open for Super Bowl LVI, which was seen by over 112 million viewers. The work was featured in Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, The LA Times, The Daily Beast, and Yahoo News. This was our 4th Super Bowl open for NBC.

We’ve also partnered with NBC on ten Sunday Night Football opens, the nation’s most-watched regular TV series, including producing two Carrie Underwood led Super Bowl intros! YES NETWORK | 2023-24 NETS SEASON ANTHEM | WE GOT NETS
We were thrilled to be invited by our friends at YES Network to help launch the Brooklyn Nets’ 2023-24 season. The result was this fast paced anthem reminding us that while there are two NBA teams in the Big Apple, only one has that signature NYC swagger. The Northern Lights Family provided editorial, creative direction, design and animation all set to “I’m Good” by Griz. This energetic collaboration was featured as a Hot Spot in the Promax Daily Brief and drove engagement across YES Network’s social and on-air platforms!
NIKE | YOU CAN’T STOP OUR VOICE
BODEGA directing team Bright Black was tasked by Nike with capturing a zeitgeist, to inspire and support the brand’s position and relevance within a larger, important social context. Bright Black produced a series of inspirational films that dive into relevant issues and serve as a call to action to get out and vote. This project is truly unique as there is no Nike product at the center of the campaign, the heart of the work showcases the power of the individual voice.
LADDER | LEBRON
NBA superstar Lebron James has combined his passion for health and wellness with his entrepreneurial spirit for the launch of Ladder, a new brand centered around nutritional and performance supplements. Ladder boasts a line of products that include plant-based nutrition shakes, whey and plant protein, pre-workout, superfood greens, and hydration products. Ben Orisich directed this brand launching campaign.
YES NETWORK | 2023 YANKEES OPENING DAY ANTHEM | EARN YOUR PINSTRIPES
We worked with our friends at YES, the most-watched regional sports network in the country, on this moving and emotional trailer that highlights the hand off of Yankees team captain from Derek Jeter to Aaron Judge and reinforces there's no "I" in team. Shortly after sharing, YES Network’s social channels exploded with positive fan feedback and the work was selected as a Promax Hot Spot! This isn't about just one person. Never was. Now let's go earn our stripes.

FOX | 2023 WOMEN’S WORLD CUP | USA VS. EVERYONE
With less than two months until one of the biggest sporting events of the summer, Fox Sports revealed its flagship promo for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Our team at SuperExploder provided the audio mix and sound design along with all sonic elements for the campaign. The U.S. Women’s National Team is aiming for an unprecedented third-consecutive title, and the players know the rest of the world is out to get them. The 90-second spot, “USA vs. The World,” stars Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe, Rose Lavelle, Crystal Dunn and Naomi Girma. Former player-turned-analyst Carli Lloyd makes a cameo appearance, as do Fox Sports hosts Rob Stone and Aly Wagner.
“Ever since our first World Cup in 2015, we have looked to consistently raise the bar in our campaigns spotlighting this special group of athletes,” Fox Sports President of Marketing Robert Gottlieb told USA Today. “With the U.S. women going for an unprecedented World Cup three-peat, we felt this was a great opportunity to have some fun with the idea that the whole world will be on a mission to take down the two-time defending champs.”
PARAMOUNT+ | UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Anchored by the most prestigious tournament in sports, the UEFA Champions League, we partnered with Paramount+ to develop and produce an engaging brand identity as they go all-in on the world’s most popular sport! Entering our third year, this ongoing campaign consists of spots for UEFA, CONCACAF including the US Men’s and Women’s National Teams, Italy’s Serie A, Argentina’s LPF, Brasil’s Serie A, and the Asian Football Confederation. In addition to hero anthem spots we’ve produced multiple seasons of topical and championship match promos for use across all media platforms and delivery formats. This season, Paramount+ and CBS delivered the most watched and most streamed Champions League season ever scoring double-digit year-over-year growth.

IZOD | PERFORMANCE
IZOD was looking to “turn the page” and create a new voice for the iconic American brand as they introduced their performance apparel line. Pivoting from the established “lifestyle” approach toward a problem/solution sell, we recruited doubles tennis superstars and 16x Grand Slam Champions the Bryan Brothers. Writer/Director Adam Reid led this BODEGA concepted, produced and edited multi-spot action-comedy campaign, supervising production from development through final delivery. These spots have been a huge success for IZOD, and were responsible for driving major growth in their performance apparel line.
ESPN+ | UFC PPV
ESPN+ has established itself as the leader in direct-to-consumer sports and with the addition of UFC PPV events, ESPN+ is the home for any fan of the UFC and mixed martial arts. We are extremely proud of our relationship with ESPN+ and the opportunity to work on the promotions for each of the UFC PPV fights. We developed an original animation package and look to promote every single UFC PPV broadcast on ESPN+ for the last two years, including delivering content across all media platforms. Each exclusive event is unique both in the fighter matchups and the visual look which allows us to flex our own creative muscle.
NIKE | WOMEN’S BRAZILIAN NATIONAL SOCCER TEAM AT NIKE HQ
With the Women's Brazilian National soccer team in town, Nike called upon BODEGA director Bight Black to create a quick turn around shareable film for their social channels. The duo took to the Nike HQ Campus, armed only with their iPhones, and spent the day covering the team training and having fun. Bright Black then cut and delivered the piece. All, in under 24 hours!
NBC SPORTS | INDY 500 ANTHEM
Over the last 102 years, the Indianapolis 500 has become the most famous race in motorsports combining speed and daring in a heady blend that makes for must-see television. Mr Wonderful concepted this spot around kinetic type animations designed to highlight iconic Indy traditions including the 500 Festive Parade, the balloons, the drinking of the milk and the kissing of the bricks. Each gets its own unique burst of energy to promote "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing”. The 2022 INDYCAR season averaged a Total Audience Delivery (TAD) of 1.30 million viewers ranking as the best INDYCAR series in NBC Sports history!
CHEVROLET | GOAL KEEPERS
BODEGA’s Ashley Avis directed and edited “Goalkeepers”, a 14-part series for Chevrolet featuring noted Olympians such as Mia Hamm, Laurie Hernandez, and Hilary Knight motivating girls to stay active in sports and STEM. With girls quitting these subjects at twice the rate of boys, “Goalkeepers” aims to empower the female leaders of tomorrow to overcome the challenges they face today.

Master of Air – noun – /‘mastər · əv · 'er/ - a passionate ambassador of Air Max culture; a connoisseur of leather, mesh, nylon and above all else, Visible Air. For these collectors, Air Max is a way of life, an obsession, a form of self expression. Some have amassed thousands of Air Max, while others possess some of the rarest collaborations ever released. No matter what their collections look like, they all have one thing in common: a deep passion for Visible Air. In this Bright Black directed brand content series you’ll meet nine of the world’s most devoted Air Max collectors. Bright Black traveled to 9 countries to see what makes these collectors tick, scored with music from Baauer’s album, “Aa”.
